The Vineyard

The Beardslee Homestead vineyard has been newly planted over the past three years with more than 500 grapevines of various cold-hardy varieties including Frontenac red, white, and gris.  The vineyard is planted in North-South rows with full East to West sunshine throughout the day.  It is also located along the Unadilla River Valley creating a micro-climate that should enhance their growth. The vineyard makes a lovely setting for a picnic or reception or simply a stroll.  Located right across the street from the main house, it is both accessible and private.  Come and fulfill your dream of hosting a long-table wine-tasting dinner at The Beardslee Homestead.

The Masseria Winery is now fully licensed by the State of New York and will produce a limited first vintage wine from the 2024 harvest.
